(1) 植物的主幹。為運送養分的必經管道，也是主要的支持器官。根據外形和構造，可分為草本與木本兩類。前者的主幹柔弱，生長時高度及粗細皆受限制；後者的主幹則粗壯明顯。
(2) 物體的柄幹。如：「陰莖」。
(3) 量詞。用於計算細條狀物體的單位。如：「小草數莖」、「數莖白髮」。
